The report also cites Deloitte’s 2016 Global CIO Survey of CIOs. A whopping 78% of those surveyed saw strategic alignment as being the most critical to IT’s success. When asked about the core expectations of their role in their companies…
- 70% of respondents say their company expects CIOs to be involved in business process improvement
- 67% say efficiency and cost reduction
- 57% say innovation
- 46% say infrastructure simplification
