In this informative webinar, Robert Cohen of Dynacast and our own Cristian Manga team up to talk about a web-based tool that captures machine status and keeps it in QAD. Dynacast, with the goal of improving OEE and Operational Excellence, created a tool to capture real-time machine status. They asked 32 Soft to develop a web-based application that would allow machine operators to capture the data into a custom menu Robert Cohen created in QAD. Robert and Cristian present the tool and talk about its development, the results, and additional applications they plan or have developed from the Machine Downtime Capture app.

	Is the Java listener used for this application same as the one used for the 32Soft Data Loaders?
It is very similar, but not the same, and it needs to run as a separate listener, on separate port, than the one used for Data Loaders.
