We’re making the Cycle Count Data Loader even better with a new log designed to build an audit trail for SOX compliance!
At 32 Soft, we’re working with one of our clients to add a log of each cycle count that is stored in QAD. It is accessible at any time and can be printed and signed to create the needed audit documents for SOX compliance.
The log is automatically generated after the cycle count data is loaded into QAD from the Cycle Count Data Loader spreadsheet. It includes the dollar value associated with the variance of the cycle count to the system count.
Each cycle count log is stored in QAD by date, so you can access it anytime and check that it matches the document that has been printed and signed at the time of the inventory cycle count. The log makes it easy to see and understand any variances to the system count and explains the factors involved in this cycle count that result in an inventory revaluation.
This feature will be added to the Cycle Count Data Loader as soon as it is fully tested in our clients’ environment. We expect it to be available in first quarter, 2018.
