At both of these conferences, Don Lindsey will present Production Orders in QAD: A Comprehensive Look. (MWUG on Monday, March 24 at 11:30 am, WECUG on Monday, April 14 at 11:00 am)
QAD revised and enhanced the functionality of work orders, advanced repetitive, Kanban, and some other scheduling such as Flow, and combined them into what is now known as Production Orders. Effective with O3, Production Orders will be the way of manufacturing for QAD. In this presentation, Don will cover the significant changes to QAD planning, scheduling, and execution that the move to Production Orders brings. He’ll also discuss how production orders deal with materials and examine the function of accounting for manufacturing in future versions of QAD.
