	Can EDI files be processed with this tool?
Yes, we do have a version where we can import data from external files. Once we know the specific layout of the file(s), we can import them, present them in the Data Loader for you to validate and upload to QAD.
	I saw the Price List field, does that also get validated?
Yes, in the simplified version of the Data Loader, the price list field gets validated. You can find out more about our validation process here. If you need custom validation that is specific to your process, we can add in that validation process.
	Can you tell us again what fields get loaded for a new item in the scheduled order?
Yes. The following fields get updated for a new item: Date Type, Netting Logic, Cumulative, Ship Delivery Pattern, Salesperson, PO Number, Customer Reference Number, Model Number, Price List and Pack Quantity.
	Does Customer Schedule Data Loader support consignment order fields?
This version does not use consignment, but if you have consignment module enabled and need to update those fields, we can add them.
	Compared to doing this with standard QAD, are all default values the same?
Yes.
	Is this used with EDI or instead of EDI?
You can use this Data loader with or without EDI. The main purpose of this tool is to help you maintain customer schedules without EDI, but even when you have EDI you may prefer to use this tool to modify existing schedules or review them in its convenient format. One of the important features of Customer Schedule Data Loader is that it can update scheduled order on the fly. One of the most common errors when importing EDI files to QAD is missing item numbers. In order to remedy this, you need to monitor the errors, go into QAD and add missing items into the schedule order and process the order again. Customer Schedule Data Loader identifies all the missing items and adds new items to the schedule order on the fly. It automatically validates your data and makes errors easy to correct so you don’t have issues with missing items.
